Reimbursement

TransLink Transportation Reimbursement Program

 * Current pilot for Lake & Klamath Counties *

The TransLink Transportation Reimbursement Program offers a travel allowance to eligible Oregon Health Plan Plus (OHP+) clients for certain travel expenses while traveling to and from a covered Medicaid medical service. Clients requesting Transportation reimbursement typically have access to a working vehicle or know a friend or family member that is available to drive them to their medical appointment.

In an effort to streamline Transportation reimbursement payments, TransLink has contracted with US Bank to issue the AccelaPay debit card to eligible Oregon Health Plan Plus clients requesting Transportation reimbursement. Through the AccelaPay program, clients will no longer receive their reimbursement payments by check, but electronically through the AccelaPay program Debit Card. TransLink can now load reimbursement funds onto debit cards within one (1) business day and client reimbursement funds are available through virtually any ATM machine. The AccelaPay card works just like a traditional debit card and can be used at thousands of locations where debit cards are accepted.
