Historic Ashland Railroad District Tour:

Enjoy a walk through history with Terry Skibby from the Ashland Historic Commission, learn about the Railroad District’s rich history. Meet at the Gazebo at Railroad Park at 10am.

Celebrate our local bike community by coming down to Gils in Ashland for a social. Learn about local bike routes, basic bike maintenance, and how to prepare for winter riding.

Friday, October 12th:
Breakfast on the Greenway: Medford

7:30am-9am. 9th Street Bike Bridge
Free Snacks and Coffee, Bike Safety Inspection, register your bike with Medford Police Department.

Downtown Medford History Tour:

Join Ben Truwe for a walking tour as he brings history to life. Learn about the unique and sometimes funny history of Medford. The tour is free and open to the public. Tours take approximately 2 hours, beginning in front of the Southern Oregon Historical Society Research Library. 

Saturday, October 20th
AARP NeighborWalks: Medford

Meet at Common Block Brewing Company
10:30am-12pm

Join AARP and RVTD for this wonderful walk through Downtown Medford and the Bear Creek Greenway. Learn about the important environmental role of Bear Creek from RVCOG’s Natural Resources Coordinator. See blue herons hunt along the creek and maybe even see salmon spawning, all in Downtown Medford! Walk is just over a mile in length.
