NEW SERVICE STARTING 12/7/2026
We are excited to announce that the RVTD Board of Directors approved the addition of Saturdays, Weekday evenings and restoring service to Jacksonville! The service is funded through the special levy passed in May and is based on direct feedback from passengers. Careful consideration went into the planning for the service addition resulting in slightly different hours than what we had before. The charts below show the hours of operation for service starting December 7, 2026.

The Route 30 to Jacksonville has also been changed. Instead of traveling on W. Jackson, it uses W. Main St. and turns around at Ray’s Food place. This route will also begin on December 7th and has 6 trips on weekdays and 5 trips on Saturdays.
The September 23rd Board meeting included a public hearing to hear from community members before voting on the service increase. Everyone at the Board meeting was encouraged to see the attendance of more than 20 community members speaking in support of the service addition. We heard from students, older adults, people living with disabilities, nonprofits and many more who depend on RVTD for transportation. We also received written comments from 7 members of the public and verbal support from the City of Medford and Ashland and a letter from the Housing Authority of Jackson County.
